I'll try to get it in the build, but not install it by default, and it looks very invasive, so.....

For example in iscwrt we're fiddling with a sip server and daap... (in addition to bind9 with dnssec support, which isn't ready for prime time yet)

As Srikanth said, not needed for capetown.
Some possibilities we've been thinking about using it for:
* enforcing per-user or per-device usage caps (in capped settings)
* rate-limiting and QoS functionality
* remote management, troubleshooting, or security services. See this, for example:
