[Bismark-users] my travel plans for april could include gatech

At the moment I am sorting out my plans for the month of April. I will
be in Florida through march 25-30th, then ultimately I have to be in
California, after making stops in NJ, Boston, and Illinois, to arrive in
California by April 25th for 3 talks and a patent case that will eat up
May (Yes, I'm taking the train. I get a lot of work done on trains)

So... I probably have a week or so available Mar 31-April 7th, maybe as
long as the 10th...

IF you have a room under a stairwell at gatech I could inhabit (with
wifi), I could stop in and help get bismark off the ground if any/all of
you are available to work with me...

But what I'd meant by a "room under a stairwell" was that I was looking

Bufferbloat.net's travel budget for me is non-existent, and my own
budget is stretched beyond thin by the various stops I intend to make on
my way to california. After I get done with the patent case in late May
I'll be golden, but before then... Not so much.

The only youth hostel in Atlanta gets less than rave reviews.

I'm easy, I can stay in florida through the 7th, and merely stop in for
a days or two on my way up the coast after you return from your
trip. But 10 days at 50 bucks a day would break me, and I haven't found
anything even close to that.

(I'm really rather used to living in the third world than the US and I
look forward to going back.)

We can spring for a hotel stay for you for 4-5 days, I imagine.  I think there are some places close-ish to campus for like $150ish a night...  for example:

* Georgian Terrace 
* Melia Atlanta
* Regency Suites Atlanta (975 peachtree st)

All have reasonable rates, it seems, and are walkable to campus.

Those are all in excess of the luxury of which I was seeking. :) Does
your school have a pre-existing relationship with any of those? 

I'm shell shocked by costs here. I've been away a long time. My house on
the beach in Nicaragua cost 700/mo including maid service and utilities,
and I split it 3 ways....

As for a start date, I've had to push my other schedules up by 3 days
(have to be in California by the 22nd, now)

I can arrive as early as march 28th or as late as April 5th... Flying in
(my dime, don't worry about it) from FMY to ATL.

I have to get moving again by the 8th, that's all. I don't see a lot of
point in stopping in for less than 3 days. It sounds like your ideal
window is April 4 minus X.
