I did indeed find the = Gentoo wiki script and gave it a shot - basically the same behavior as = sqm-scripts. I=E2=80=99m really thinking my on-a-stick topology is tying things in = knots as my traffic is on the same interface twice in inverse = directions. I have another NIC in the box used for some back end NFS = stuff - I can steal him temporarily to rejigger my interfaces. My goal = is to get eth0.666 to just be eth0 (public wan, no dot1q). I=E2=80=99ll = post my results from this - and barring any great success there - will = loop back to this thread and try what folks have mentioned. We are snowed in today so the kids are home from school - I=E2=80=99m = sure I=E2=80=99ll get plenty of feedback from them - =E2=80=98dad the = internet is down=E2=80=99. :) --Apple-Mail=_593F39C7-51F1-41A0-8985-8B979E029596 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: Message signed with OpenPGP using GPGMail -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: GPGTools - https://gpgtools.org iQIcBAEBCgAGBQJWn57hAAoJEMCnGJ6ewDp04EAQANok8uBbpFtNrpNyTPh/Wpoj +ZG8bq8Mou34D+6f+M6iF+C+yMp0K97EZNJSaWns5dAdmdt0ixNMtfnscxWUcksw JvKYaS+UMB3qSYPij2ccsAkCBgE7bfhmqyvZMxXAE97UERYZzxDF+fZDSiQiy4tP LvhEJxN88iSzsVKKYJwXv36tAwSGXxDMeAR8pgw/N91h6c5hucdRTGMz9C13skGa RyKENB6j7M2T+fHs0irydMiOwsJiMo/klGkASXwf/WFZRSIw0NcU8jx2yYeiLoQG 4ZNxX2pVrCVimfyp4+dzcyO07u4rVBY1osoO6tNyo9DhU6dNC0s0lBl4UL5JrEuw QlFxHW/anOrC2O6xd5icWexYLCAtRp4RgN6KYTn7HuQzTneVUaU6J/FSL0ReoZW4 nzIKlKr+u/fBJzdezOOOAiPjoOY88hipHyZboqqb9RxrMMfrskbokQvHV43SyrwT U6fvCdhwTI0vpkkaxrlvDkT5WWEpJxSCb3BH48Rd3cheRw2Htdpp4YMIPJ0bCzaQ eu8kwpLgg28OvJAHU/yTf0qyDNdxKI0gdwc0lmSjeggngyLKYxSrPcJGyLn+xe3g ovcuMH/efI9cwC+UOV0p6B9fVq1qzq4yzMx8iXfB/0k3rgdAnf0NQIAe9MpIAOMy UnTLdQgv+buoY4qWPAnp =BEQT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Apple-Mail=_593F39C7-51F1-41A0-8985-8B979E029596--
