For no good reason I can tell, after fixing the bind CVE, rubygems
fails to load.

And I have no clue why. It must have been there before. The OS is
obsolete, updates don't work, and there are numerous other issues this
server has.

I do have a complete backup of the postgres database for it, and it
has long been past time to switch to a modern virtual machine in the
cloud somewhere, but moving forward something like 7 versions of
redmine looks like a major hassle, also.
