I see that the install for sqm-scripts puts a script in:

/etc/network/if-up.d

This is where my =E2=80=98persistence=E2=80=99 is coming from.

Sorry for the machinegun postings guys - I=E2=80=99m just underprepared to = dig into tc.=C2=A0 My world is usually iptables, routes, etc.=C2=A0 Never w= orked much with tc and the unfamiliarity is frustrating me.

Having said that - I can see that this is excellent work.=C2=A0 I=E2=80=99v= e had it on my todo for a while to reinstall the firewall with Ubuntu 14.04= .=C2=A0 This will bring a lot of utilities and tools forward version wise a= nd give me a better starting point.=C2=A0 I=E2=80=99m aware that I=E2=80=99= m coloring outside the lines a bit to make this work as it stands.

Thanks for everyone=E2=80=99s patience and time so far.

I've quickly r= ead the thread (maybe too quickly),
from what i remember for virtu= al interface txqueuelen is 0 by default, so nothing work as expected
can= you check the txqueuelen with ip -a ?
(i've found no ref= erence to txqueuelen in sqm-scripts)
