So implicitly the instructions above to use "web ui" to upgrade, means you can use sysupgrade. http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/generic.sysupgrade So I just did: cd /tmp wget sysupgrade Then it rebooted. I then had to use the factory default button on the device to reset the configuration before things started working properly.
