Subject: [Cerowrt-devel] 3.10.28-8 - wireless devices not discovered
Date: Sun, 16 Feb 2014 09:59:58 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <53008C1E.2020507@imap.cc> (raw)

Installed the build, reinstalled web interface with luci-mod-admin-full,
to find that wireless connected headless macs were not discovered.

(I pause at this point to point out the immorality of Apple withdrawing
Security Updates silently from all builds but 10.9. Said legacy machines
run 10.7 and 10.8. Shall never buy again from Apple.)

These machines can still be accessed via Chrome Remote Desktop, so is
the issue with avahi-daemon?

Tried restarting this daemon. No helpful log entries. Restarted Fedora
20, used for control.

Reverting to previous build, 2.10.28-4, removes issue. All machines are
revealed and can then be accessed via viewer software.
