I'll look at this after I'd had some sleep and don't have the distractions of the in-laws visiting. I was on the verge of giving up on 'routed', it has a few days reprieve whilst I think. The other access point is a Netgear WNR3500lv2 which doesn't do Openwrt as far as I can tell :-( The default firmware in incapable of understanding /27 subnets via DHCP, so VLANS are probably too much to hope for :-) Much thought to be done but not today!
