Anyone know how to get chromecast talking between the lan, 5ghz, and 2.4ghz networks on the the same vlan?

I'm trying to figure it out but I'm not having much luck. I think it has to do with multicast being forward between the subnets, but I'm not sure how to set up pimd. And I could be completely wrong. ^-^ 

I've got pretty much everything stock - cerowrt Modena 3.7.5-2 on Netgear WNDR3800. Any help would be great. Thanks.
