I happen to like uknof but won't be going this year. They are still
looking for presentations. Anyone?

Dear colleagues

UKNOF27, taking place on Tuesday 21 January 2014 is still over seven
weeks away and registrations are going well. We are pleased to be
returning to the Manchester after three years and the meeting will
take place at Manchester Central Convention Centre (formerly GMEX).


I would like to remind you of some important dates:


CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS DEADLINE
--------------------------------------------------------
We are still seeking additional material. If you have something to
submit or suggest, please refer to our Call for Presentations at:

The initial submission deadline is 4th December.



ACCOMMODATION BOOKING DEADLINE
----------------------------------------------------------
For those of you who would like to book accommodation we have
negotiated rates on behalf of those attending UKNOF27. Further
information and booking details of those hotels, plus a link to other
hotels in the area are in the Accommodation section at:

The negotiated rates on the hotels are for Double rooms, include
breakfast and VAT and bookings are flexible (ie, may be cancelled
closer to the arrival date - no payment processed on booking, although
your card details will be required to place the reservation).

Negotiated rates are available until 22 December, after which their
standard rates will apply.

Summary:
1) Hilton Manchester Deansgate ; £105 single occupancy
2) QHotels - The Midland ; £120 single occupancy
3) Jurys Inn ; £80 single occupancy
4) Thistle ; £82 single occupancy



MEETING DELEGATE REGISTRATION DEADLINES

To help us with meeting logistics, please register for the meeting as
soon as possible.

EARLY BIRD (FREE) registrations are available until 7 January 2014,
after which time all registrations are chargeable at £50 + VAT (plus
Eventbrite fee).
