Subject: [Cerowrt-devel] dhcp bug on openwrt chaos calmer
Date: Tue, 5 May 2015 09:25:09 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAA93jw5XALXXk4EJ9=nVbW9A+aPgd3LAeugAbReQh2jK-6-xbg@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

A dhcp request is responded to (on a fresh reboot) but not acted on.

Ticket here:
https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/19603#ticket

Capture here:
http://snapon.lab.bufferbloat.net/~d/comcast_dhcp_issue.cap

I also am not getting a /60 delegation either...

Anyway, I am curious if anyone with a comcast link can successfully
reboot their router AND get an ipv4 address without rebooting the
modem also - both on cerowrt 3.10.50-1 and a more recent build of
openwrt. - so far as I knew this was working just fine, or we would
have noticed it long ago....
