Could be 2 on 2.4ghz or, 2 on 5 ghz, or one on 5 and one on 2, but 2 channels, but having two radios on different channels running simultaneously is the requirement for diversity routing/interface alternation. What are you calling a channel? =A02.4Ghz has 3 channels available an= d
5Ghz has lots more and you suggested that batman-adv can do diversity
routing. =A0Did I miss something?

Exactly that. 2 = or more different channels. Could be 2 on 2.4ghz or, 2 on 5 ghz, or one on = 5 and one on 2, but 2 channels, but having two radios on different channels= running simultaneously is the requirement for diversity routing/interface = alternation. At least in wifi.
