I have been reading specifications recently and IEEE 1588 is designed for multicast time acquisition. Any other ideas? This would probably be a nice long-term solution (though I'd be w= orried
about the DOS potential of such a setup?); we would probably need a
short-term solution in the intervening years until everyone implements
this, though... ;)
