I haven't seen the 3800 in any store for months. It's not at
frys...there are only two available via amazon...
too bad, we're almost done debloating it, with just the wifi left to go.
I've been dreading this... I know there are tons of other routers on
the market with this chipset, but I imagine those will dry up soon,
too.... suggestions?

Do we know what chip the 4300 (that Amazon is suggesting instead) is using?

looking around (since I need to buy 30 of them in the next month or so), there
still seem to be good supplies of the 3700 around (I haven't confirmed if they
are v2 or v3)
I even called Netgear in my research, and while they are completely out of
stock, they do not show the 3800 as being end of life yet, so this could be a
temporary gap.

And I was in Staples last week, and saw a WNDR3700 v4 (!).
