Subject: [Cerowrt-users] Which DNS server(s) am I running with?
Date: Sat, 12 Oct 2013 08:11:23 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAK-n8j4Rvs6NUC2kzj1YFVL5+=Cmt=ep=TwOK6chHY+3p546qg@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

I'm confused about which DNS servers I'm using.

    CeroWrt Berlin 3.8.13-7 / LuCI Trunk (git-ce8e872)

Under Network | DHCP and DNS I have listed as DNS forwardings:

    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220

But my Status screen says:

    IPv4 WAN Status:

    Type: dhcp
    Address: 76.25.42.131
    Netmask: 255.255.252.0
    Gateway: 76.25.40.1
    DNS 1: 75.75.75.75
    DNS 2: 75.75.76.76

The 75.75 DNS servers are Comcast's DNS servers. Why isn't it showing
the ones from Open DNS? If I log into the router, is the a command to
show this a different way? /etc/resolv.conf has only 127.0.0.1
