Well, we did change from the paper which used 'maxpacket' rather than 'minb= ytes' Minbytes is basically the mtu. I wanted something more abstract than 'mtu', I felt maxpacket was confusing as it indicated packets max_packet_size sort of makes sense, but... I went with minbytes.
