The original problem statement described: "The DEWS distributed early warning system, using GPS and accelerometer enabled devices on the internet edge, using network tomography to determine the size and scope of the disaster and high speed networking to warn those beyond the initial event to get under cover." There has been a tremendous amount of private traffic over the last 24 hours involving the idea, which expands on the core ideas tremendously in multiple directions. I think it would be best to open up the discussion and make it public, so that the other smart people not presently in the room, can join in. And we should also break down the problems into categories, and people, and get stuff up on the project wiki pages, and into the bug tracker.
