enables...

"Telco gateway functions such as Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) and
the Access Gateway Function (AGF), which require extra-large buffers
for advanced hierarchical traffic shaping, scheduling, and policing
for fixed network and 5G residential gateways" -

What does extra large mean?

Or ultra-low-delay?

Anyone know anyone at intel that can talk coherently to the new BNG kit?

" Scalable per 100 GbE instances
• Each 100 GbE instance supports 32,000 queues
• 3–7 scheduling layers, with a default configuration of 5 layers
• 8 GB or 16 GB of HBM2 memory for traffic buffering, depending on the
specific Intel® FPGA
• QDR-IV, eSRAM memory for queue management tables
• Congestion control
• Fine shaping granularity, supporting a combination of low-bandwidth
services (e.g., voice)
and high-bandwidth broadband service" -

HQoS and 8GB+ packet buffer like the big merchant silicon can do.
slap another one in and you can get 20MM route lookup table memory like big vendor silicon can do, too.

what's "ultra low delay" mean to you/this list?
