if anyone here is not also a member of wispa, and actually participating in this BDC stuff, see below. If you care about USA legal stuff such this, please let me know, and I'll establish another list (say... LibreBS) for it. I'm a paid up member of wispa, and I am going to keep most of my opinions about what they do to myself. An ear and voice in DC IS needed... ( I would really like it if a technical org existed, much like the society of cable engineers, or the early (1980s) ietf, or 90s ieee, for wireless and ip based technologies in general. This is why I'm loving this list so much) ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: WISPA Date: Fri, Oct 28, 2022 at 8:16 AM Subject: Important Info on Inconsistent Emails as to the Cutoff Date for BDC Updates To: Dave Taht Hi Folks: Over the past few days, some of our members had received some inconsistent emails as to the cutoff date for making updates to their Broadband Data Collection (BDC) submissions. These inconsistent emails came from two different teams that are working at the FCC on the Broadband Data Collection effort. Yesterday, I sent an email to the leaders of the Broadband Data Task Force and asked them for a clarification. This morning, the Broadband Data Task Force sent me the following email: “We have advised BDC filers that *to the extent they have any corrections to their June 2022 BDC filing, such corrections need to be filed and certified by November 4* in order to be included in the maps that will be published later in the month. Thanks for letting us know about the inconsistent messaging. We'll make sure the call center is providing that information."
