Subject: [LibreQoS] WISP Planner for cnHeat users - FREE and no cap for 30 days!
Date: Mon, 14 Sep 2026 21:44:44 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAJUtOOjf3iauELcAz3zROgjq15LZNA7edr=wctfKq6zGPJkagw@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

Today’s Cambium Networks filing makes it pretty clear that things are
changing quickly. A lot of operators have years of work tied up in cnHeat,
and we don’t think anyone should be left scrambling to preserve that work.

We've added a cnHeat import and backup tool to *WISPPlanner.com
<http://WISPPlanner.com>*. It connects directly to the cnHeat API and can
pull your sites, radios, antenna information, azimuths, heights,
frequencies, and other configuration into WISP Planner.

You can also download a copy of your cnHeat data to your own computer, even
if you have no plans to move away from cnHeat.

*For cnHeat users, we're making the migration/backup tool free and giving
you 30 days of WISPPlanner with the normal site limit removed*, so you can
bring over your actual network and evaluate it properly.

Even if you're planning to stay with cnHeat, we’d encourage you to make a
backup of your configuration while the API is available.

cnHeat has been an important tool for a lot of operators. Our goal here is
simply to make sure those operators have a practical path forward if they
need one.

All the best,

Frank
