Subject: [Make-wifi-fast] testing some old code with new code
Date: Tue, 23 Aug 2016 05:25:56 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAA93jw7a_mEMAUfcAM6rXU1wBkYFimSRQ5XP+DngQA47G6k81g@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

I am back in the yurtlab, testing some year old code as a baseline
against some of the new stuff. A puzzling thing is how long it takes
to start assembling a decent sized aggregate. (the latest flent has
support for polling that stat)

topology:

osx(server) -> wndr3700v4 -> ath9k laptop

presently running a slightly older version of toke's patch set on the
laptop, a year+ old build on the 3700v4 running the fq_codel qdisc

the "wifi_wifi" tests are across wifi for all machines
the "eth" tests are with the osx box as a server

The "down" tests are via the ap
the "up" tests are driven by the laptop
