Telemakus makes a combo attenuator (0-65 dB) and phase shifter (0-410 degree) that might be of interest. It's not shown on their web site http://wwww.telemakus.com so contact them directly if this is of interest. For traffic, iperf 2.0.8 has UDP end/end latency (+ more, including RTT/CWND) though assumes all the clocks are synched with something like PTP. A quality oscillator to act as PTP grandmaster helps much. I use a GPS disciplined TCXO but a free wheeling OCXO would work just as well. https://sourceforge.net/projects/iperf2/ Also, one may want to see if the wi-fi cards can provide phy chan information so one can plot magnitude/phase/condition numbers with something like gnu octave. This can help isolate any phy related issues particularly when calibrating a controlled environment. while they won't do -ac, the wndr3800 is available for <$30 each on = ebay, you just need a remote disk to stream the capture data to.

the number of channels you can listen to is limited to how many you want to= have running in a stack :-)=
