I just put up notes as to how to do bismark builds on your own hardware at:

(in my case I have been VERY disconnected from the internet and haven't 
been able to get to huchra much. I have several packages that I'd like 
to work on on my travels. That said, huchra is about 10x faster than my 
laptop for big builds)
