That would be OK for ledbat-like vs TCP
Real time vs ledbat-like isn't that clear to me why real time should be protected.
I'd say that Skype would suffer against any protocol probing for bandwidth.

Really? AFAIK Windows Update has been using a LEDBAT-like scavenger-type congestion control algorithm for years now.
