attached is the most recent version of sqm-scripts, just drop simple.qos, simples.qos and functions.sh from that into your router’s /usr/lib/sqm and you should be running to most recent version then. I would love to see the output of:
1) tc - d qdisc 					# before and after selecting cake in the GUI and choosing cake as the link layer adjustment mechanism filed (gated by the advanced options checkbox)
2) tc -d class show dev eth0
3) tc -d class show dev ifb4eth0

Maybe I screwed up the release numbers, maybe the older states have higher numbers and hence the changes do not appear in the openwrt repository (but not enough information, so conjecture on my part)
