Bert Hubert noticed this interesting piece: "1.1.1.1 is a public DNS resolver, but unlike most DNS resolvers, we do not sell user data to advertisers."

Do they? Or is it a poke at Google?
It's from this piece:

Our implementation of 1.1.1.1 makes it the fastest resolver available, and we support DNS over HTTPS (DoH) which encrypts and secures consumers’ DNS requests."

Also, I'm not sure I trust them with not selling now, and not ever selling later. IPO means new decision makers and they love to change course for higher yields no matter what.
