Hi,

I don't know if there are better choices out there, but for sure, the C7 remains a very well supported router on OpenWRT/LEDE. Both ath9k and ath10k drivers are being worked on over here (C7 uses both), however I believe ath9k has more open source code, so maybe a 11n router using ath9k on 5GHz would work better in terms of bufferbloat. The only problem with the router might be the lack of CPU power when handling SQM at higher speeds. 60/6 should be OK.

It might be a helpful thing for a compatible list of products to be made available, so folks like me could more easily become early benefactors, not to mention testers and contributors.
