Hi all,
For researcher on this mailing list, this is an excellent opportunity to submit your ongoing satellie research. The workshop is returning this year backed by a huge success from its last year iteration. We look forward to cool measurements/simulations/thought-provoking ideas from this mailing list :)
======================================
The 2nd ACM Workshop on LEO Networking and Communication 2024 (LEO-NET) deadline is fast approaching!
LEO-NET is part of ACM MobiCom'24: The 30th Annual International Conference On Mobile Computing And Networking, October 2024, Washington D.C., USA.
Web page: leo-net-workshop.github.io/2024
LEO-NET aims to open new avenues for networking researchers to explore different aspects of LEO satellite constellation operation and performance and shape the state of LEO satellite communication. We see multiple strong verticals in LEO – understanding the operation and potential bottlenecks in rapidly growing LEO constellation offerings, novel network protocol extensions that leverage the highly dynamic LEO links, applications like satellite imagery and IoT, LEO compute, and several others. We expect strong submissions along all of these verticals addressing many open challenges across the stack.
Submissions must be original, unpublished work, and not currently under consideration elsewhere. Submitted papers must be no longer than 5 pages (two-column 10pt ACM format), including all figures, tables, followed by 1 page references. Submissions should be dual-anonymous.

Paper acceptance notification: August 25th, 2024
