We are now looking into content delivery and web performance over Starlink compared to terrestrial networks, aiming to uncover any hidden quirks. To do this effectively, we need your help!</div><div style="font-family:CMU Sans Serif,Arial;font-size:14px; "><br></div><div style="font-family:CMU Sans Serif,Arial;font-size:14px; ">We've developed a Chromium browser-based plugin that periodically connects to some of the top websites in your region and records various web browsing metrics based on CDN server locations. Additionally, it performs Google M-Lab speed tests and records your bandwidth performance and latency under load. At the end of the test, we even provide a “score” of your network performance, indicating its suitability for common web applications like browsing, streaming, gaming, and teleconferencing. You can even view your historic performance right within the plugin as well. </div><div style="font-family:CMU Sans Serif,Arial;font-size:14px; "><br></div><div style="font-family:CMU Sans Serif,Arial;font-size:14px; ">We would really appreciate if you could install the plugin in your browser from the webstore: <a href="https://bit.ly/netmet-plugin">https://bit.ly/netmet-plugin</a>. It works on all chromium based browsers (Google Chrome, Opera, Brave, Edge, etc.). The code is fully open-source and we also welcome suggestions to improve it: <a href="https://bit.ly/netmet-repo">https://bit.ly/netmet-repo</a>.</div><div style="font-family:CMU Sans Serif,Arial;font-size:14px; "><br></div><div style="font-family:CMU Sans Serif,Arial;font-size:14px; ">If you are using Starlink, we kindly request you to install the plugin.
