I try not to post off-topic things here, but occasionally I´m so pleased
with progress on something that I need to share. Being able to manage
bandwidth and latency, and get stats on 10s of gigs, high speed connections
for 10s of thousands of subscribers is pretty neat:

When we started with cake in 2014, I was happy to get a mere 50Mbits out of
it on cheap hardware. What a difference a decade can make!
(no, starlink doesn´t use this stuff. But I wish they´d try it. We do have
a few unis putting this in place, as well as a ton of other ISPs, and most
recently a mine)
I´m always interested in what others think would be useful from this
viewpoint.
