So basically chicken will really come home to roost - when there will be more concurrent users in-flight. Current Starlink users, although they may experience more than 1 end device using it at time, it's not exactly 20 people aboard of an aircraft. Would be good to know which airliners are using it nowadays and if they chicken came home to roost already :-) All the best, Frank Frantisek (Frank) Borsik https://www.linkedin.com/in/frantisekborsik Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp: +421919416714 iMessage, mobile: +420775230885 Skype: casioa5302ca frantisek.borsik@gmail.com On Thu, Sep 14, 2023 at 7:44 PM Dave Taht wrote: > > > On Wed, Sep 13, 2023 at 8:43 AM Frantisek Borsik via Starlink < > starlink@lists.bufferbloat.net> wrote: > >> Starting at 1:00, he has mentioned sub 20 ms latency, some other >> airliners hooked up to Starlink as well: >> >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKqJ5-kkUGk >> >> If only someone from Starlink would listen to Dave and plugged him in to >> fix all that: >> >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9gLo6Xrwgw >> > > They will figure it out eventually, when two or more people try to use it > on the same flight, with a mix of > video and videoconferencing traffic. > > >> >> >> >> All the best, >> >> Frank >> Frantisek (Frank) Borsik >> >> https://www.linkedin.com/in/frantisekborsik >> Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp: +421919416714 >> iMessage, mobile: +420775230885 >> Skype: casioa5302ca >> frantisek.borsik@gmail.com >> _______________________________________________ >> Starlink mailing list >> Starlink@lists.bufferbloat.net >> https://lists.bufferbloat.net/listinfo/starlink >> > > > -- > Oct 30: > https://netdevconf.info/0x17/news/the-maestro-and-the-music-bof.html > Dave Täht CSO, LibreQos >
