But it would probably be cheaper for them to buy SpaceX stellites (owning, not
renting) and pay SpaceX to manage them than to try and build out their own
datacenters (on earth or in space)
The vast majority of countries that have 'you can only use computers in our
country to process data from our country' are doing so to enforce censorship,
which gets even less sympathy from me.
A country does want to ensure they are not dependent on a significant rival for
National Security reasons, but as long as there are multiple competing countries
to buy capcity from.
