I'm curious if anyone out there has actually set up a ntp 'manycast'
server/clients to get authenticated time?

Similarly autokey...

Am interested in:

A) HOW? The website is not very clear....
B) Overhead
D) Latency

The idea of secure, broadcast time over a mesh seems reassuring, as is
the idea of connecting to each others (not central servers) gps fed
ntp clocks....

I've never tried it. I don't think there are that many people on this
particular list. You could try posting this on the NTP questions list.
I'll bet you get some response.

Sincerely,

Ron

(PS - If you email me and don't get a quick response, don't be concerned.
I get about 300 emails per day from alternate energy mailing lists and
such. I don't always see new messages very quickly. If you need a
reply and have not heard from me in 1 - 2 weeks, send your message again.)
